ThaiSim: The Thai Simulation and Gaming Association

สมาคมสถานการณ์จำลองและเกมแห่งประเทศไทย

ThaiSim is a professional association for students, teachers, trainers, researchers, practitioners and other professionals.

Its aim is to enable and promote the sharing of expertise in the field of simulation, gaming, role-play, serious games and experiential methods for teaching, learning, development and assessment.

Membership in ThaiSim is open to all who wish to participate, learn and contribute.  Members come from education, industry, schools, universities, professional training, and so on.  International members are particularly welcome.

ThaiSim members are practitioners, researchers and theorists, and are interested in improving their skills and knowledge so as to make learning more effective.  ThaiSim members explore and develop experiential learning ideas and practice in order to improve education and society.

The principal objective of the association is

‘to promote the effective and responsible use of simulation, games and experiential learning activities, particularly in education, training, research, assessment and development’.

ThaiSim members are practitioners, researchers and theorists, and are interested in improving their skills and knowledge so as to make learning more effective.  ThaiSim members explore and develop experiential learning ideas and practice in order to improve education and society.

Education, learning, development, sustainability, sufficiency, balance, responsibility, respect and moderation, peace, humanitarian values, and Buddhist values are at the heart of ThaiSim.
