Author check list

Journal of Simulation/Gaming for Education and Development
ISSN 2158-5539

This page is for authors of articles submitted to, or accepted for publication in, SGLD.

You need to use this check list in conjunction with the SGLD Publication Guide, especially the example ms provided in that guide.  Also consult the Tips pageYou may also wish to look at the ms evaluation guide for reviewers.

You must use the check list below for two versions of your ms:

bullet

Version 1:  The very first version of the ms, which you submit to be reviewed.

bullet

Final version:  The last version of your ms, which will be prepared for publication.

bullet

You do not need to use it for intermediate versions.

How to use and send the check list:

bullet

Copy the check list below (not this whole web page) into the body of your email.
To do this: Highlight the check list (below after the line), copy <ctrl c> the check list from your browser, and then paste <ctrl v> it into the body of your e-mail message.

bullet

The check list comes at the end of your email, after your letter to the editor.

bullet

Check off (in the left-hand column below) each applicable item to indicate that you have included, attached or otherwise attended to the item.  Use "yes" to indicate that you have dealt with the item in your ms.

bullet

If an item is not included or completed, indicate why.

bullet

Attach the appropriate version of your ms as a word file to the same email.

If items in this check list are checked, but not in fact dealt with in the manuscript, you will be asked to redo the manuscript and to send a revised version, with another copy of this check list.

Note that the list below is not exhaustive; you will find other items in SGLD Publication Guide.  Some links below will take you to Simulation & Gaming: An Interdisciplinary Journal - S&G.  The S&G guide will be useful for some things here.

Items in green are included only for the final ms, not for versions 1, 2 and 3 of your ms.  Do not include items in green in a ms for review.
